The LEGO Movie is a chocolate box of joy. Some jokes may not taste as good as others, but you are never too far away from something you’re going to adore.

Lord and Miller have done it again, this time elevating what could have been a 100-minute toy advert into a hilarious, warm and touching slice of family fun.

There are times when its e-number-fuelled energy becomes a little too hyper and causes a lack of focus.

But most will be too busy trying to force ‘Everything is Awesome’ out of their heads to care.

Ticklish, touching and mostly terrific, The LEGO Movie is great fun for everyone. This is animation, and imagination, at its finest.
