Fear not – Bad Neighbours 2 is fresh, funny and, as with any Seth Rogen film, it sports a lot of weed-related shenanigans. What’s not to enjoy?

There were concerns that, as with most comedy sequels, the laughs in this followup would fall a little flat. With dildo-related humour, a welcome return from Lisa Kudrow, and some severe ‘bro-ing out’, BN2 does essentially play out as a carbon copy of its predecessor.

But although we’ve seen most of this before, what’s new are the emotional triggers that will resonate with anyone entering the world of life after college.

Without breaking new comedic ground or having much that’ll bust your gut, BN2 ticks over nicely with its gross-out exchanges. Throw in shirtless Efron, and you have yourself a party.
