Facebook Twitter Pinterest WhatsApp EmailHardcore Henry is one of those rare films that almost makes so little sense that it makes perfect sense. But what it lacks in plotline, it makes up for with some seriously innovative first-person special effects. You’ve certainly never experienced a film quite like this before. Ilya Naishuller uses the thin plot as a vehicle for his experiment, taking us on a visual journey at breakneck speed – Henry’s well-deserved 18 rating means you’ll want to cringe away from its explicit gore, while at the same time being concerned you’ll trip over if you glance down for too long. Let’s be honest, Hardcore Henry serves no real purpose other than to test the first-person angle. If you’re willing to overlook some motion sickness, it’s a lot of fun.
