Each big film managed to achieve some form of recognition i.e. 12 Years a Slave – Best Picture, American Hustle – acting nominations, and Alfonso Cuarón for best director for Gravity. If anything, the biggest shock came in the strong love the HFPA had for The Dallas Buyers Club, which was strangely snubbed by the BAFTAs. Check out all the winners and losers below!
