Breathtaking cinematography is almost a requirement of a modern music video, but This Idea of Us goes above and beyond to anchor the narrative visually through restless camerawork, shifting focus and perspective on a dime as the two actors twist in and out of frame.

Special credit must go to Fionn Cox-Davies, whose choreography and performance amps up the emotion without breaking the naturalistic feel, which ties perfectly into the moody track by Jono McCleery.

Ultimately every aspect of this poignant short works in perfect harmony to tell a moving story, all without a single word.
