Narrative inconsistencies and total changes within the film’s own logic seem to come out of nowhere every few minutes – though I guess none of this really matters when an illiterate Kevin James is the President of the United States. Adam Sandler’s in it, accompanied by an attractive female supporting role in the form of Michelle Monaghan, so whatever “nerd fantasy” required comes full and easy right from the get-go. The fact that this happens thrice over, however, is slightly less forgiving. Really, this is just another piece of Sandler. Pixels knows it’s not great, but it could have at least tried.
