Facebook Twitter Pinterest WhatsApp EmailNot all of We’re the Millers‘ jokes are in the ubiquitous trailers. A lot of them are, but not all. Plus the trailers do have a lot of jokes. Wacky drug-smuggling action serves to unite this unconventional family rather than drive the plot, but considering the real chemistry between Sudeikis, Aniston, Roberts and Poulter, this is rightly so. A few jokes and twists are telegraphed but this hardly matters in the company of these characters and that of the supporting cast: Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, the wonderful Kathryn Hahn. Expect a sequel. Expect me to go see it. Cross-country van travelling with a pseudo-family hasn’t been this enjoyable since Scooby-Doo. RATING: 4/5 INFORMATION CAST: Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter and Ed Helms DIRECTOR: Rawson Marshall Thurber WRITERS: Bob Fisher, Steve Faber, Sean Anders and John Morris SYNOPSIS: We’re The Millers tells the venerable tale of a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the US from Mexico.
